Overview

The Question Explorer is a research tool designed to help you discover the exact questions users ask AI engines (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot) when searching for products or services in your niche.

Unlike active trackers, the Explorer acts as a discovery tool to help you identify valuable search intents before you begin tracking them.

Step-by-Step Workflow

Follow these three simple steps to brainstorm and track relevant questions:

Step 1: Add Keyword (Define Your Topic)

In the search field, enter a core topic or keyword in your industry (for example, 'project management software' or 'background check software').
Click the Explore button to start the discovery process.

Step 2: Get Questions Generated (Analyze Intent and Impact)

AEOTrack automatically brainstorms a list of commonly asked queries based on your topic. Each question is automatically classified by:

Intent Type — Identifies whether the search is Informational (users seeking knowledge), Transactional (users looking to make a purchase), or Navigational (users searching for a specific brand/website).
Impact Level — Rates the query as High, Medium, or Low impact depending on search popularity and likelihood of driving traffic.

Step 3: Track the Question (Monitor AI Rankings)

Review the generated questions list.
For any question that matches your business offerings, click the + Track button on the right side of the row.
Once clicked, the question status changes to Tracking and is instantly added to your Visibility Tracker, which begins querying major AI search engines for your brand presence.
