Google sign-in and email verification

Google sign-in

On the sign-up and login pages, Continue with Google creates or opens your account using your Google identity. No password is stored by AEOTrack, and the email address is treated as verified immediately. If a workspace already exists for that email, Google sign-in opens it; if you signed up with a password earlier and use Google later, the two are linked to the same account.

Google sign-in works for invited team members too: accept the invitation link, then choose Google on the sign-in page.

Email sign-up and the 24-hour window

Sign up with an email address and password and you go straight into onboarding; you do not have to open your inbox first. A verification email is sent at the same time.

• Within 24 hours: everything works as normal. A banner reminds you to verify.
• After 24 hours without verifying: the account pauses. You can still sign in and see everything, but scheduled checks, alerts and report emails stop until the address is verified. Click Resend verification email on the banner if the first one went missing.
• Verifying at any point lifts the pause immediately.

Changing your email

Settings → Profile lets you change the address; the new one needs verifying within the same 24-hour window. Team invitations and the weekly digest go to the verified address.

Trouble signing in

• Google sign-in shows an error: check that pop-ups are allowed for app.aeotrack.io and try again.
• The verification email is missing: check spam, then use Resend. Mail from AEOTrack comes from an aeotrack.io address.
• Password reset is on the login page under Forgot password.
