Your AI visibility report (PDF)

What it is

The AI visibility report is the PDF you download from the Reports page. It is one website's AI visibility for the period, laid out to be read by someone who has never opened AEOTrack: a manager, a client, a writer. It is on every plan. The same PDF is what a scheduled client report attaches, rendered from the same data at send time, so a scheduled copy never disagrees with one you download.

To get one: open Reports, pick the website in the header and click Download PDF.

The pages, in order

Cover

The logo (AEOTrack's, or yours on a white-label plan), the brand and website, the date, and a strip of three headline numbers led by the AI visibility score with its ± band. Read the ± before anything else: a move inside the band is normal variation between two checks, not a change in visibility. See What the ± on a score means.

Contents

A page list. Reports are meant to be skimmed to one section, so use it.

Summary

The period in a few paragraphs: what the score is, what moved and whether the move was real, which engines name you, and the top open task from the improvement plan. If you read one page, read this one.

Brand ranking

Your brand against every named competitor, ranked by share of voice over the period: how many answers named each brand out of how many collected. This is the same table the Share of voice page shows. A brand near the top that you do not track is worth adding as a competitor; see the Share of voice guide.

Prompts

One row per tracked question: its score, which engines named you, and who was named instead. Questions marked advice-only are listed but not scored, the same as on the Questions page. Sort by eye for the 0s with a competitor named: those are the questions to work on, and each has an opportunity report.

Sources

Two lists: the URLs the engines cited most often across your questions, and the domains those URLs belong to, with how often each was cited and whether it mentions you. A domain cited often that does not mention you is the target for outreach or content.

Your cited pages

The pages on your own site the engines used as a source, with how often and for which questions. These are the pages to keep current. A tracked question with no cited page of yours means the engines have nothing of yours to lean on for it.

Method

The last page states the scoring version the numbers were computed under (version 6 since 27 September 2026), one live answer per engine per question, which engines were measured and which were not on the plan, and a link to the public methodology page. Leave it in when you send the report on: it is what lets a reader trust the numbers.

White-label (Agency and Enterprise)

On Agency and Enterprise the report carries your branding instead of AEOTrack's: your logo on the cover, your brand colour, your agency name, and no AEOTrack mark if you turn it off. Set it once under Settings → Company → White-label branding and every report from every website in the workspace uses it, downloaded or scheduled. The steps are in Share links and white-label reports.

Reading it with a client

  1. Start on the cover: score, ± band, change. Say whether the change is real.
  2. Go to the brand ranking: who is ahead, by how much.
  3. Pick one question from the prompts page that a competitor is winning.
  4. Show its sources: the pages the engines read that do not mention the client.
  5. End on the summary's top task. That is the work for the month.

Frequently asked questions

Is the PDF the same as what the Dashboard shows? Yes. It is rendered from the same stored answers and the same scoring version at the moment you download it, and the cover states the date it is as of.

Can I get the same numbers in a spreadsheet? Yes: the Google Sheets feeds on Pro and up, or the public API.

Is there a report for one question? Yes, the opportunity report, which also downloads as a PDF.

Is there a public version? AEOTrack publishes a monthly public named report at www.aeotrack.io/named-report. The first month's edition is pending.
