How can AEOTrack help you?

The emails AEOTrack sends and when

The short version

AEOTrack emails you when there is something to read: your first result, one thing to do each week, what moved after each check, and where your trial stands. It does not email you on a fixed daily drip. The table below is the whole schedule. Days count from the day you finished setup; trial days count towards the end of the 14-day trial (T-3 is three days before it ends, +2 is two days after).

Every email comes from an aeotrack.io address. Replies go to support@aeotrack.io and are read by a person.

The schedule

Subjects carry your own numbers and brand, so the exact wording varies. The patterns below are what to look for.

WhenSubject patternWhat it contains
About five minutes after setupYour first result: whether AI named {brand}Whether any engine named you in the first check, the score line, and under Who was named instead the brands the engines recommended, with how many answers named each.
Day 1How to read your DashboardThe AI visibility headline and the line under it (score, ± band, answers, engines, as-of date, advice-only questions left out), and where the improvement plan is.
Day 2The one page to change this weekThe top task from the improvement plan: the page, the fix, and the day it will be re-checked.
Day 3Your questionsA look at the questions you track: which ones are advice-only and worth replacing, and the ones buyers ask that you are not tracking yet.
After every scheduled runWeekly results for {brand}What moved, read against the ± range. In a week where nothing cleared the range, the email carries the current top task instead as One thing to do before {weekday}.
MondayYour week on AEOTrackA digest of the week. It is skipped in any week that already had a weekly results email, so you never get both.
Trial T-10 and T-7{N} days left: what changed since your first checkSent only when something changed since the last email. Quiet weeks get nothing.
Trial T-3 and T-1Your trial ends in {N} daysAlways sent. The countdown, the two extension offers (the free 7-day extension once, then a card for 14 more days) and the plans.
Trial expiryYour trial has endedThe trial in one line: Since your first check on {date}: N questions started naming you, M stopped. The extension offers you have not used, and the date of the next free monthly check.
+2 and +7 days after expiryStill tracking {brand} once a monthReminders that the account is read-only, what the free monthly check will cover, and the offers that are still open.
30, 60 and 90 days after expiryWin-back: what the free check foundThe result of the free monthly check (3 questions across five engines), reported separately from your trial numbers so the two are never mixed, and the plans.
When a subscription startsWelcome to {plan}The plan's limits: websites, questions, topics, competitors, seats, engines and on-demand re-checks.
When a score moves outside the ± band{brand}: AI visibility {rose/dropped} from {old} to {new}A score alert. Sent by email to the account owner by default; Slack and Microsoft Teams get the same real moves through their connections. See the Automation guide.

Every email that reports a result links to the page in the app that shows it, so nothing is only in the inbox.

Emails outside the schedule

  • Sign-up confirmation: the link that confirms your address and starts the trial. See Google sign-in and email verification.
  • Free audit report: sent once when you add your work email to an audit result.
  • Scheduled client reports on Agency and Enterprise go to your clients on the schedule you set; see Scheduled client reports.
  • Invoices and receipts come from the billing system when a payment goes through.
  • Team invitations and password resets, when you or a teammate ask for them.

How to stop marketing mail

  1. Open any AEOTrack email and click Unsubscribe at the bottom. One click; no sign-in needed.
  2. That stops the lifecycle and marketing emails: the day 1 to 3 series, the trial countdown, the reminders after expiry and the win-backs.
  3. It also stops email alert rules to that address. The Alerts tab under Settings → Automation flags an unsubscribed address, and alerts to it resume only after it re-subscribes.

Sign-up confirmation, password resets, invoices and team invitations are account mail and keep arriving; they are only sent when you or your team ask for them.

Unsubscribing does not change what the app shows. Every result an email would have carried is on the Dashboard and the Questions page.
